GRID ALTERNATIVES
In my role leading creative strategy and marketing for a national nonprofit focused on renewable energy equity, I built a paid advertising program that generated more than 1,500 qualified solar leads and developed systems to track performance so we could refine our approach each year. I also produced social and press content that earned major media coverage, and designed a wide range of digital and print assets to support our mission and keep our audiences engaged.
DIGITAL IMPACT AND MEDIA WINS
For the Los Angeles regional office, I launched paid ads across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and Nextdoor to reach families and job seekers in climate-impacted communities. Those campaigns brought in 1,500+ solar leads and 500+ workforce leads, and my influencer partnerships added another 600 solar leads on their own. I also grew our organic presence through real, community-centered storytelling, doubling our Instagram following and helping land 11 major media features.
PRESENTATION GRAPHICS
I created clear, on-brand presentations that helped GRID communicate its impact with confidence. These decks supported everything from fundraising pitches and partnership meetings to trainee orientations and homeowner education. By combining strong visuals with key data and real stories, they made complex information easy to understand and helped move people to action.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND EVENT DESIGN
I designed the full visual environment for GRID Alternatives LA. From community events to high-profile media moments. This included pop-up tents, tablecloths, banners, wayfinding signs, and handheld photo props that strengthened our presence and elevated our storytelling. I created backdrops, podium signage, and branded displays that made our media events and graduations feel polished and unmistakably GRID. I also designed all office signage, including large impact walls that brought our mission and values to life.

A FOCUS ON WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
I brought fresh energy to GRID Alternatives LA's workforce development programs by creating distinct event brands for graduations and job fairs - each aligned with the overall WFD identity but strong enough to stand on its own. I captured powerful trainee stories through testimonials and coordinated professional headshots for every cohort, building a rich library of assets that highlighted impact, celebrated achievement, and helped our graduates shine.

PRINT AND DIGITAL COLLATERAL
I designed materials that strengthened brand identity across every touchpoint. From one-sheets and posters to mailers, web graphics, and recruitment collateral, each piece was on-brand, visually engaging, and purposeful.

SOCIAL MEDIA
I created social media posts for both GRID Alternatives Headquarters and the Greater Los Angeles office. Below is a sample of a social media carousel for GRID Alternatives Headquarters Earth Day post, featuring quotes from tribal leaders and photos from solar installations. The post aimed to educate about the impacts of climate change on Indigenous communities and to highlight tribal-led energy decision making.

CREATIVE ASSET LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT
I hired and collaborated with an illustrator to build an extensive illustration library and curated a photography style by hiring and art directing a photographer. These evergreen assets became a versatile toolkit I could use across projects, elevating storytelling and making creative production more efficient and impactful.
